Day 1: Alice Springs to Yulara

Departing Alice Springs, we head south, stopping for a short visit at the Outback Camel Farm (rides at own expense) and then heading straight to Yulara where we meet any passengers joining us from Ayers Rock Airport. It’s then onto our permanent campsite for lunch. The afternoon is spent exploring Uluru (Ayers Rock), a World Heritage listed area. Join your knowledgeable guide for a base tour of Uluru, exploring ancient caves where Aboriginal paintings can be seen, learning about the oldest culture in the world. At sunset, you will appreciate the spectacular color changes of Uluru. Later we return to camp for a traditional Aussie meal. After dinner, relax around the camp under starry desert skies. Camp: Ayers Rock Resort Permanent Campsite (Lunch and Dinner included)

Day 2: Yulara to Kings Creek

It’s an early rise for an exciting morning with breathtaking views of sunrise at Kata-Tjuta (The Olgas). Go for a walk to appreciate the beauty of the 36 magical domes and learn about unique fauna, flora and fire management of the national park. This afternoon, travel through red sand dune and desert oak country to Kings Creek Cattle Station where optional activities are abundant. Tonight, try a traditional “camp oven” dinner, cooked in the coals of the fire.
Camp: Kings Creek Permanent Campsite (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included)

Day 3: Kings Creek to Alice Springs

This morning we visit breathtaking Kings Canyon. There’s no rush, as we hike around the canyon rim viewing sites like the Lost City and the Garden of Eden, as well as the striking North and South Walls. There are plenty of opportunities for photos. We return to Kings Creek Station for lunch before travelling through sand dune country as we head back to Alice Springs, arriving approx. 6.30pm

It was an unbelievable experience. The guides were so informative, encouraging and friendly. We had different ages and nationalities in our group, but the guides made sure that all were included, and we bonded so well over the three days. Highly recommended and big thanks to our two tireless guides.
