You’ll spend up to an hour here with your tour guide, who will show you the sights of Rio from this soaring mountain-top vantage point. After your morning tour, relax and enjoy lunch at a seafood restaurant.

In the afternoon you’ll drive through downtown Rio, past its fine collection of colonial-style Portuguese buildings, to pick up the cable car at Prai Vermelha (red beach). The cable car takes you to the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain for wonderful views of Rio de Janeiro nestling between the mountains and the sea, and the magical sight of the sun dipping down over Copacabana beach.
