It was fantastic! The bus for the return trip could have been better organized. We stopped at the Butterfly Gardens while the bus went on to Butchart, and therefore got off schedule. We were not given good instructions for how or where to go after the gardens.

We tied this tour in with a seaplane flight from Vancouver as we only had a day to visit the island. The tour was extremely good with just the right amount of time allowed at Butchart Gardens to take in all beauty of the scenery there. A highly recommended tour that can be done on a day visit from Vancouver.

Butchart Gardens is the must see attraction in Victoria and it is rather far from the city of Victoria. This bus trip is great to get out there to see it. The only problem is that you really do not have enough time to thoroughly see the gardens. You have to keep track of the time and keep moving to see it all. The hop on/off bus around Victoria is nice but it does not come often enough. Just once an hour at each stop. If you miss it you have to wait another hour to catch the next bus. But the drivers were nice and had interesting commentary about Victoria.

We had a great day whale watching, at first we thought we would not see any whales as it was foggy and we seemed to be having no luck finding them. The great thing is that all the Whale watching boats are in contact and advise each other if they get a sighting, so you have a better chance of seeing Whales. After an hour at sea we got great views of lots of Whales… amazing, the crew are great giving information about the Whales, the boat is comfortable and no sea sickness at all, great washroom and refreshments available. This is a great trip and excellent value for money that I would highly recommend, got some great photos too.
