Your guided tour starts with a drive along the Ringstrasse to the Prater, a Viennese amusement park. Here, you have the opportunity to board the Giant Ferris Wheel for a marvellous view over the city. This was great fun. The food was not the best I had in Austria, but it was good enough. The show was delightful, as was the ferris wheel ride. A little confusion about the pickup arrangements, but it all got smoothed out. I’m very glad we went.

In a week we visited Vienna, we booked 4 day tours from Viator. This one was the best. Even on a rainny day, we, in our 50s, had as much fun as our teenage girl, all first time riding a Segway. It’s so easy to learn, no more than 10 minutes was enough to get on road. Just riding by itself is so much fun, and you get to see many Vienna attractions in couple of hours! The guide was great, not only showed us major tourist spots, but also took us to quieter places which we wouldn’t have found with longer stay. My daughter had two comments I’d want a Segway at home, and I wish other cities have Segway tours.

The Wachau Valley was stunningly beautiful, the bike ride enjoyable. It was fun tasting not only wine, but chocolate, jams, and schnapps in the local towns. Also, our guide was able to tell us some local history, so we learned something, too. I enjoyed the opportunity of being able to ride a bike through the countryside without getting lost or going through the hassle of renting.

We always use hop-on, hop-off buses when in major cities to get an over view of the city and its major attractions. We were then able to determine what places to visit later in the week. There are three lines that can be used, Suggest if you have the time to do all three but we only did two lines as we spent part of the rest of the day at Heroes Square and the shopping area around St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Recommend this tour.
