ACCOMMODATION

At Tropical Villas in Beruwela accommodation is in the form of split-level villas. There are 54 rooms in all. Each is air conditioned and equipped with large plasma-screen television, music system, IDD telephones and mini bars.

All rooms have attached bathrooms with classy toiletries and bath amenities, there’s hot and cold water and all the other generalities. The rooms also have tamper-proof lockers for your valuables and tea / coffee making facilities.

CUISINE

Tropical Villas offers its guests both western and eastern cuisines in its restaurant. The cuisine is a variety of fresh seafood and fresh local produce, prepared by the resident chefs to your specific liking. There’s local delicacies and western menus that are certain to keep you satisfied, while tropical fruit platters and international deserts will take care of your sweet tooth.

The food is generally good and sometimes much better than the 3 star rating demands, but if you feel like having a change, there’s a host of local restaurants to try out.
