The Earl’s Regency Hotel located in Kandy; a 120KM from the capital city of Colombo is an oasis of comfort complementing the traditional hospitality of the old Kandyan kingdom. The hotel is laid-out to offer its guests maximum comfort through clever use of space and facilities. The structure has two bedroom wings linked by a central area which consists of bars, restaurants and all other public spaces. There’s also a large swimming pool with a separate children’s area.

ACCOMMODATION

The Earl’s Regency has 85 rooms and includes 15 deluxe rooms, 2 penthouses and 4 suites. All the rooms are spacious with beautiful modern décor and fantastic panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and the Mahaweli River.

The penthouses are located on the top floor and provide spectacular views. The attached bathrooms are tiled and fitted with sunken Jacuzzis, along with modern amenities and necessary facilities. There’s even an outdoor shower.

The Suites have personalized check in and out, butler services, 29 inch plasma T.V., DVD/VCD, tea and coffee machines, mini bar, library, etc.

The standard rooms are comfortable and spacious. All the rooms are air conditioned and are well appointed with satellite T.V., IDD telephones, mini bar, Safe, 24 hour room service, laundry service, etc. most of the rooms come with private balcony with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

The food at Earl’s Regency is absolutely five stars. Continental, oriental or simply local – The restaurants offer a wide selection of cuisines round the clock. There are Temptations, Far Pavilions and the Chameleon Café. There are also two bars – The Mount Batten and the Pool Bar.

RENAISSANCE SPA

Being a relaxing and rejuvenating destination Earl’s Regency has now teamed up with Spa management and operations company; Sanctuary Spa (Pvt) Ltd. The Renaissance Spa is currently the only Spa in Kandy and fittingly it’s in the most luxurious hotel in the city.

Being situated in such a calming environment it seemed like the obvious option to open a Spa which offers clients anything from Aromatherapy massages, Swedish massages to Reflexology. The Spa will also offer Balinese massage, an Indonesian massage technique using a combination of pressure and strokes to help restore and calm oneself.

You too will be treated like royalty; when you choose ‘The Royal Package’, or you have the option of choosing from the Spa menu anything you desire. There is a menu where you can choose to be pampered from Head to Toe. Since there are a lot of weddings that take place in the hotel, brides-to-be have a special package just for them, so they can look and feel beautiful for their special day.
