Dickwella Resort and Spa has invested over Rs.50 million to reopen the hotel after it was damaged by the 2004 tsunami.

Chairman, Dickwella Resort and Spa, Italian born Enzo Azzola said that the management has also introduced a Spa for the property.

Enzo has built 66 bungalow type rooms of five categories of Standard, Deluxe, Suite, Royal Suite and Family Suites built his dream hotel Dickwella Resort and Spa. All rooms are air-conditioned and have all facilities of a five star property.

“My hotel is designed in such a manner that it is like a ‘Ship in the sea,” Enzo said.

The hotel has a business centre to cater to the growing business and conference market that is being developing.
